SGERC has been cleaning up Hwy. 84 with a Caltrans encroachment permit since 2007. It was time to renew our signs along the roadway! As part of the Adopt-A-Highway program we've adopted 8 miles from San Gregorio beach almost to La Honda. We also have a permit to remove invasive Pampas/Jubata grass and Stinkwort all the way to La Honda. Our removal has been so effective beginning in 2016 you will hardly ever see one of these invasives along the highway corridor. If you do, please let us know and we'll remove it. Let's keep San Gregorio Watershed free of this invasive species that has taken over many parts of the coastside!
